Now I'm going to close the dresser door on the overly curious and smart cat! He really likes to open drawers and climb into them; the previous latches held him back, but unfortunately, they had a woven part that couldn't withstand time and started to fall apart upon touch. I decided to look for ones that don't have any woven or other perishable parts; in this case, all-plastic ones should be the best fit. They have good strength; I tested them, and they can withstand the cat's attempts to open them. The little guy is strong and athletic. . . very meticulous and patient, I hope these latches will help protect the clothes in the dresser! I'm tired of constantly having to clean it off white hair! 😱

Your set includes 10, 15, or 20 LIVOFT™ Right-Angle Locks, depending on the option selected.

How does the lock work?

Its rigid 90° design wraps around the cabinet corner to help prevent young children from opening the door.

Will it fit my cabinets?

It fits square 90° cabinet and drawer corners with two flat, smooth surfaces. It is not suitable for rounded or uneven corners.

How do I install it?

Clean and dry both surfaces. Attach the side with the release switch to the fixed cabinet surface and the other side to the opening cabinet door. Peel off the backings and press firmly into place—no drilling or tools required.

Can the adhesive damage my cabinet?

Results vary by finish. Avoid delicate, peeling, freshly painted, damp, or textured surfaces, and test a hidden area first.

Is it easy for adults to open?

Yes. The built-in release is designed for adult access while remaining difficult for young children to operate.

Is it completely childproof?

No safety product replaces adult supervision. Check the lock regularly and stop using it if it becomes loose or damaged.

Can the lock be removed and reused?

Removal may weaken the adhesive, so reinstalling the same lock is not recommended.
